Mirlian is a well-educated lore-master, but she still enjoys travelling and getting things to know personally more than sitting in Elrond's library. She uses her knowledge to travel to the most afflicted places and helps wherever needed, with advice or her skill. Her attire is mostly practical, but also stylish - she cannot and doesn't want to deny her elven roots :)
