Gondorian warrior

Rate:

Maney has been born and raised in Minas Tirith as one of many children once to become soldiers of proud Gondorian army. His father was a member of Steward Ecthelion's guard until his death. Years after Steward Denethor took over the reign, Maney's family has retreated to far Bree Land in order to raise their children in peace.
Now, in these dark times, Maney decided to join Free Peoples' forces against the Dark Lord and fight for Gondor, despite his disagreement with Denethor's rule. Men must unite if they are to beat the most feared enemy, once and for all!

imho, the breastplate doesn't compliment female elf's subtle body. you might be more successful with elven warrior's armour, shown e.g. here: http://lotrofashion.blogspot.com/2011/05/fiery-huntress.html

let me know your opinion and result :)

if you remember what they dropped from? Though I think the boots only drop in rift?

  5. tbh i bought all this stuff on AH :D i've been stalking there for quite a few days to get parts of sun-lands and orod-na-thon sets... the only drop i got myself was westernesse steel breastplate of vigour, which dropped in uru.

  6. anyway i can give a piece of advice here - Helm of Orod-na-Thôn looks very similar to Elven Winged Helm (Heavy Armoursmith in Rivendell) and Leggings of Orod-na-Thôn are the same as Sturdy Elven Defender's Leggings (T3 crafted)

  8. Thanks for posting the image of this outfit on the female elf! I think it would look better on her without the shoulders. Most heavy armour shoulders look disproportionate on my elf.

  9. one more hint i found: based on http://lotro.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?lotritem=11792 it should drop from Krahjarn Warrior

also, which server are you on? if you play on snowbourn, i could lend it to you to put in the wardrobe - i think i have it unbound

  10. lydia, ur right, but i still think the breastplate does most harm in "squeezing" her... but you might try yourself, maybe without soldiers it won't be so bad :)
(offer about lending the armour pieces to snowbourn players still stands)

  11. Pretty sure thats the same breastplate my Guardian currently wears.

Enjoying the screenshots here, nice approach to the subject.

If you want to link to it, I've got most of the cosmetic looks that are bartered or crafted on my site, though only with a man model for the most part. http://lotro.northshield.co.uk

  15. conor, some leather boots from outfitters could be fine replacement. i'm not sure how they dye, but you can find variety of them here: http://lotro.northshield.co.uk/Medium/Purchased/Man.htm

let me know if you succeeded to compose them into the outfit :)

  16. where did you get the shoulder guard recipe?

    ReplyDelete
  17. if i remember right, the shoulders can be crafted by master metalsmith:
    a) from guild (recipe available from metalsmith guild vendor)
    b) from random world drop recipe

so you can check the AH, or try to find a metalsmith who is also member of the guild :)
